Jim graduated with honors from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in May 1989 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

Jim joined Nykiel, Carlin, & Co., Ltd. in January of 1990. In 2006, Nykiel, Carlin & Co. merged with Clifton Gunderson LLP. On December 1, 2008, the Kankakee Office of Clifton Gunderson separated from Clifton Gunderson and formed Borschnack, Pelletier & Co.

Jim passed the CPA Exam in November 1991. He is a member of the AICPA and the Illinois CPA Society and is licensed by the State of Illinois.
